AMG is a family run business which is small enough to care, but big enough to cope. The company was founded in 1983 by Suzanne Trippett; today, along with her husband Roger, she continues to run AMG Nursing and Care Services.


Suzanne Trippett

Director - Owner

Director of AMG Consultancy Services and AMG Nursing and Care Services, Suzanne is an RGN with over 30 years experience in nursing and the private healthcare industry. Suzanne has extensive knowledge in Medico Legal report writing and has worked closely with solicitors and patients for over 25 years. Currently the Care Quality Commission Responsible Individual for the Company Suzanne remains focused on quality standards and excellence in care.

Roger Trippett

Director - Owner

Roger has been a director of AMG for 15 years with responsibility for the day to day running of the company. Initially from an engineering background travelling extensively around the world Roger has adapted his practical approach to building and developing a successful company. Roger in his position as Managing Director ensures that all team members have the resources to enable them to deliver an excellent service caring for all in the community.

Garrett Taylor

Managing Director

Managing Director of AMG Nursing and Care Services, Garrett is a Registered Nurse with an extensive portfolio spanning 30 years in the Armed Forces, NHS and charitable organisations. His background is diverse, including a variety of clinical, educational, managerial and executive roles. He joined the NHS in 2001 and has experience of both acute and primary care service delivery. Garrett has held a number of senior Board appointments, including Birmingham Children’s hospital and most recently he was the Director of Operations for a national charity providing mental health support for veterans through residential and community services. Committed to providing excellence in care and the patient experience, Garrett remains focused on inspirational leadership and is a champion of quality care.

Diane Debens

Director of Medico Legal Services

Diane has over 30 years experience working in both the medical and legal professions. She continues to provide invaluable support to our team of nursing consultants, whilst promoting and running the Medico Legal Department.

Rachel Simpson

Operations Director

Rachel has worked in the private healthcare sector for over 15 years, working within all areas of the business starting as a care co-ordinator, through to managing branches, national compliance management, integration's and strategic planning. Rachel currently focuses on operational management . Rachel remains very hands on within the business and keeps up to date with branch activities.

Sue Lewis

Director of Nursing

Sue has wealth of experience as a qualified nurse, manager and medico legal consultant. Sue has worked for AMG Nursing and Care Services for over 10 years.

Chris Nash

Finance Manager

Chris joined AMG in November 2005 initially as a payroll clerk after gaining a BsC in Computer Science and Mathematics from Keele University Chris continued his studies, completing a CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting whilst working for the company and was promoted to Finance Manager in November 2010. Chris supports a team of six staff in delivering all financial requirements for the company.

Jo Plant

Quality and Safety Lead

Jo has 18 years experience working with people with learning difficulties, children and older people both in the community and residential settings. With AMG since 2010, Jo has extensive knowledge of care planning and risk assessing as well as sourcing provisions/services for clients and families. Jo supports our branch network in ensuring that we deliver good quality documentation, which truly reflects the needs of the individual with those people at the heart of everything we do.

Associate Nursing Director - Trainer


Deborah Bennion

Associate Nursing Director - Paediatric

Deborah has been a Registered Sick children’s nurse for over twenty years, working largely with oncology patients, but also caring for both medical and surgical clients within the NHS.
During this time, she has gained comprehensive knowledge and experience to enable her to provide a high quality of care to children with diverse care needs.
Deborah joined AMG in 2013, and has recently been appointed as Paediatric Nurse Director.
Within this role she has successfully developed the paediatric sector of the company, building and expanding the team in order to enhance and coordinate our current practice with complex paediatric patients.

Tracey Connor

Associate Nursing Director - Adult

A nurse for over 20 years Tracey brings a wealth of experience from the NHS in both hospital settings and in the community.Tracey started working for AMG in 2010 as a Care Consultant preparing nursing medico legal reports for the court, a position she continues to do today. Along with that role, in 2011 Tracey started to support the Complex Care Team to support local branches to set up complex care packages, by delivering training and support. Tracey was promoted to Clinical Team Leader in 2013 to oversee the nursing team.

Dean Mason

Business Transformation Manager

Dean recently joined the company to support with IT management. Dean has previously worked within the financial sector and sales, developing IT systems throughout. Supporting our branch network, Dean's ability to problem solve is second to none and within a short space of time has become a valued member of the team.
